Funding Partners

Crossing-Bridge promotes access for individuals and families to receive support and financial relief. In addition to Ontario Autism Program funds, parents and caregivers of a children or youth with special needs may also qualify for financial support from the province, organizations and charities.

 

Listed below are some funding options that you may be eligible for.

Special Service at Home (SSAH)

SSAH is a funding program that helps families who are caring for a child with a developmental and/or physical disability. The Province of Ontario provides this reimbursement program to help parents/caregivers purchase respite care activities that promote growth and development. 

Catulpa Respite Program

Catulpa Community Support Services offers respite funding for children school age to 18 years through their Children’s Respite Program. Funding for the program is provided by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. No referral is needed and new applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and can be completed online.

President’s Choice Children’s Charity (PCCC) 

PCCC supports children 18 years of age or under by providing direct financial assistance through grants for the purchase of equipment, accessibility modifications, physical therapy and more. The charity accepts applications from families whose children have been diagnosed with a range of disabilities including autism.
